For foreigners who lost their job at the company

This is a notification from the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.
Foreigners such as technical intern trainees who have been unable to work at the company due to the new coronavirus will be given, for a while a special status of “specific activity” for one year, so that they can continue to work in Japan.
If you’ve been forced to quit the company and find it difficult to find another company, you can also find a job with national support.
